okay my dad wants me to get a Zen vision 30gb mp3 player but i want an ipod nano wich one is better and i don't know how to do mp3 stuff so yea i only know how to do ipod stuff so wich one?

While I know little of the Zen vision's I do know (from personal experience) that the Ipod's are extremely user friendly. Not to mention, most accessories (speakers, car adapters, etc.) are made specifically for Ipods. Therefore with the other MP3 player you would have limited options. Ipods also come with wonderful tech support. If you ever have any problems, you can take it into your nearest Apple store and they will fix it there for free- or give you a new one if it is broken beyond repair, again for free. If it is price you are concerned about, you can order your Ipod from www.apple.com and get a discount if you are a student. Good luck!

I just bought the Vision M 30G and I love it. It's easy to use, you can use other programs to access it, you don't have to use the ones it came with. You can buy your music anywhere online and then if you want to move your music from your Zen to another divice later, you can because they're standard files. It takes all file type, holds pictures, videos, and other computer files, like an external hard drive. I love it and am glad I picked it.
Apple, while having a great package of stuff that goes with is a bit proprietary for my liking when it comes to things like this.

The only drawback to the Ipod is i tunes, the software needed to organize your music. You can not go to another computer and try to organize or download songs to your i pod, other than the computer in which you first loaded your i pod onto.
99% of other mp3 players, like the Zen, allow you to transfer and organize your files on other computers.
