Amy will be disappointed, but she'll get over it pretty quickly - as will you.
Just tell your friend something like, "My mom said this isn't a good day for me to leave the house, so I'm sorry I can't come over. Maybe another day we could do it."

Your mom thinks Amy's a bad influence and she doesnt want you mixing with her. Apparently, her mom doesn't even wash her hands before cooking after being at the toilet. I know, she told me.

Does your mother have any reasons for you not attending your friends house for tea? I the friend was ok and your mother has no problems with her family you should talk to her and see if she will comprimise with you ask her if there is anything you can do to go for your tea.

if your mom said no , then no means 'no ' your mom must have a good reason ,she may think your too young to go to another house by yourself . sorry ,mom is doing what she know's is best for you .
