We are in the process of achieving it.
Have you ever played a role-playing game where you order your villagers to build a structure? Well you tell them to build the structure and the computer people just do it. Cosmologically it does not work that way. Cosmically speaking if you were a god and you ordered your people to build something it could take much more than simply building it. This is just one way it could go. You the god have so decreed that a pyramid should be built. This is the world prior to pyramids; this structure will be the first of its kind. So anyway, a child is born and goes out into the streets to play. A drunk Egyptian comes hurtling down the street in his little animal powered vehicle. He hits the playing child killing him. This man is so distraught he quits drinking. He feels terrible for taking a life so he decides to get married so he can create a life. This happens 3000 years prior to the first stone being quarried that will be used for the pyramid. During this 3000-year period various seemingly unrelated events occur that ultimately lead to a man, who at the time was called insane, designs a new type of structure, which will one day, be called a pyramid. I use this story to illustrate that countless events may take place which pave the way for something that seems totally unrelated to that which it gave birth to. People must lose their arrogance. We feel that because something is not happening right now, during our lifetime, it is not happening.
The process, which will ultimately lead to world peace, may have started with a murder.

destroy all life! World peace is impossible because as long as life exist war and violents will happen. People will then say just destroy humans... nope wont work because even lowly ants fight among other ants and also other animal species will fight over the most menial thing. World peace is a dream notion. War mongers as some call them is a thing that exist within every person to an extent. IF some one tries to shoot you or kill you you fight back.. Defence and offence are basic instincts of life. As for humans we have people who think offence can be reasoned with be glad unlike animal Darwinism human have armies that protect the non fighting.
What it comes down to is that no matter what some one will want some one else dead no matter how much you preach pacifism.

We never will, there will always be someone thinking that they can take over the world and other's trying to stop them. There will never be any peace, sorry. I mean trying to achieve peace is like reaching for Utopia.

You don't. Humans are too unpredictable and emotional to achieve world peace. You want peace, replace the human race with robots.

By each people get their peace of mind, one by one.
Sounds not realistic? I thought so, but if you are holding a lighted candle in your hand in the total darkness, you think you are the only one (since it's dark) but the person breathing right next to you also have the candle, just without the light yet. You can spread the light, whole world will share it.

I feel world peace could be attained through every individual on the planet finding true inner peace within themselves. We project outwards our inner turmoils and so affect others. People would stop attacking others if they themselves were aware of their own powerful core of inner peace and tranquility that rises above material wants and desires. We need to promote the importance of everyone finding the source of inner personal harmony. Some have found this source. It exists! But the majority of humans are ignorant of this possibility. It should be taught in all schools everywhere. There are humans on this planet now, that can demonstrate how to achieve this mighty personal goal. It is called ENLIGHTENMENT! Read Stephen d'Amico's book, "Heaven On Earth" and you'll see this can be attained by everyone! If each person on our planet, would take it upon themselves to begin this process, much progress would be made in reducing the violence, the petty jealousies and envies that lead us to kill each other, the eternal bickering and small-mindedness would be put to rest forever. It is there for everyone to discover the true meaning of existence and who we all truly are. Violence and aggression are fueled by inner personal emptiness and ennui. Happy, contented people with an inner sense of personal worth do not strike out at others. They don't need to. It all stems from "I want" and "I don't have" and "I need" and "I hate". Enlightenment would abolish all negative ambitions. Life would not have arisen from any negating force. You need positivity and belief and "light" - sunlight for one, and the light of an enlightened mind! If all minds could realize this light exists in all or us, mankind would advance themselves from their present lowly state of push and grab and take. Greed and avarice would be eliminated. The light of enlightenment would elevate all of us into the realm of higher consciousness, which lays undeveloped in all of us. We have to all turn the lights on! Let's end our wallowing in this darkness of ignorance. Turn the light on! Enlighten ourselves now!

We will never have a world without conflict.
But perhaps we can have conflict without violence. Perhaps if enough people study the gentle martial arts we will be able to control people's aggression peacefully.
Perhaps if our armies are taught to use gentle martial arts principles instead of aggression we could truly have a "peacekeeping force"
I believe it is indeed possible, and i am doing my best to make it happen.
