If a valid judgment has been entered against him, then the laws of your state will determine the extent to which any collection can occur. Each state has different rules pertaining to garnishment. Some states permit garnishment of wages. Others permit only garnishment (or attachment) of property both tangible and intangible. Others permit both.

Your father needs to consult with an attorney licensed in your state to find out what his options are. For a referral to an attorney, contact your local or state bar association.

WHAT he is doesn't matter, how much he earns does.
