how long after u give birth should u wait to have sex... my husband is due to come back for r n r when im due.. and i wanna know how long.. bc i dont wanna not be able to be with him the whole time.. ya know?

His R&R is gonna be like, 2 weeks at most. After the delivery, not enough time.
You probably won't even feel like it for at least a month after the delivery. I don't know if this is your first pregnancy, but there is a lot of bleeding after the birth...for at least a week, most times more.
There are other things the you can do to "be with him" if you know what I mean. But I'm sure you'll find just sitting there holding hands while watching your baby sleep will be enough bonding. You have lots to talk about, and spending time with each other will give you both emotional satisfaction.

really depends how you feel after the birth. I waited 6 weeks with my first baby, and 8 weeks with my second. Both deliveries were quite traumatic though!

I think that totally depends on how your delivery goes and how you feel afterwards. Both of you will be tired cause the new baby. I had sex 3 weeks after.

I think it's safe after a month, but regularly you should wait 6 wks. Depending how u feel also.

They say to wait at least 6 wks. If you don't want another baby that is. I would say it depends on how you feel physically.

they say about 3 weeks.....but it really depends on how you are feeling....a friend of mine did it a week after...but she said she was very careful...no roughness!!..LOL
