I had a Lucid Dream yesterday. Before I went to bed, I told my self I would have a lucid dream. I also had simple things that I would say in my dream, just to make sure I was Lucid. I said everything that I said I was. I also did basic math problems in my head, just to make sure I was lucid. Then I went straight for oral sex. I created a female, so she could provide oral sex in my dream. At first, it was a female cartoon character. I didn't want this, so I focused really hard in the dream, then I got the pretty girl I wanted. It felt so good.

Mine was very different than yours. It was shortly after I joined the church I'm now a part of, and not at all familiar with how things work in a global way. In my dream, the world wide leader of the church had died, and it seemed I was the last to know. It was a Sunday and I went to church and found out there. I was shocked. But then, as dreams usually do, I jumped to another scene and learned who it was that was going to take over as the world wide leader. Everyone at church was fine with it and accepted it automatically. I (in my dream) found it amazing that it was so automatic. That was the dream, and I didn't even remember I had had it.
A couple of weeks go by and it's a Sunday and I'm going to church when I hear in passing that our world wide church leader has died after a long battle with an illness. I thought to myself, "Well, Yeah. That's old news. That happened like two weeks ago. What's the big deal! His successor has already been chosen." In hearing others talk about it, it occured to me that what I knew was really given to me in a dream and that it really hadn't already happened. So when it was explained to me (bless their hearts) that the Prophet had died, but that that didn't mean there was chaos in the church. I tried to explain to them that I knew this already. They asked how I knew, and I couldn't explain it very well, but told them that I knew who was going to be the new Prophet. They asked who. And because I was so new in the church I didn't know his name, but had a picture of his face in my mind. A couple of months later there was the annual satalite broadcast where among other things it was announced who was the new Prophet and leader of the church. I recognized him from the dream I had. One person who remembered my dream asked if that was the person I saw in my dream and told them yes.
I don't know if you're a religious person, but to me that was a dream that at the time seemed so real to me. But then afterwards I completely forgot it until I needed to remember it. I don't know how I would have reacted to the leaders death if I hadn't had the dream I had, but I think it was a God thing, because a fairly short time later that Prophet also died, and I saw the person who was also in the "shot" (as if it were a photo) with the Prophet I first saw, become our current Prophet and leader of the church.
I don't know if this is what you're talking about when you say a lucid dream or not.

I've also had dreams that seemed almost more real than real life and not remembered them for weeks, months, or even years later. But none of them were ever like the above. Nor have I ever tried to manipulate them to get some sort of gain from them.

I have read that with practice people can dream what they want to dream by thinking about it for a period of time before going to sleep, but I don't think any of them were prophetic.
