I had to reinstall windows
and the driver is not installed now

well you need to be subscribed to an internet service, such as verizon, comcast, etc. Then you need a router. After you have those two, you need a CAT cable (also known as an ethernet cable). You connect that to your router and then to your ethernet port on the back of your computer. hope it helps.

Most end users don't know that there is a directory on the hard disk with all of the factory software. Of course the first thing people do is slash and burn (format and reinstall). You'll have to get the driver from Dell's website.

you should be able to put the ethernet cord right in and you're set. if it's not doing anything, go to dell.com, go to the drivers section, enter your service tag and find the ethernet driver. Dell computers often make you do that if you reformatted it or something.

you should be able to plug in the ethernet cord if you have a router. Im assuming that by saying you have ethernet, that you have a port on your computer for it. There shouldn't be anything to install.

get your service tag from your dell and go to the dell website and download the drivers at http://support.dell.com

then run it on the other PC.
