I'd be interested in hearing what the girls' viewpoint is on this.
I'm also curious as to why most guys who wear these are walking around barefoot. It seems guys who wear anklets and dirty soles go hand in hand quite often.

I think it can be sexy if the guy had a tanned, surfer-boy look going on. It will naturally fit with the rest of his attire (which probably won't be much other than swim trunks and a surf board). But if the guy has more of a businessman look, or is older than 29, it kind of seems like a "poser" thing to wear- as if he isn't really a beach buff, but wants to look like one.
The exact same rules go for other accessories, such as the ever-popular surfer dude shell necklace. Lol.
Also, ankle bracelets usually look better and more natural with bare feet, at least in my opinion.

I think guys that wear anklets look good...
It doesn't really matter what ankle you wear it on, but always wear them on my right ankle!!!

it doesn't necessary look cool but it doesn't look bad. Actually i take that back, i guess it does look cool!! any ankle will work!
