An odd question. The Northern and Southern hemispheres comprise the entire the world. The Northern hemisphere is everything north of the equator. The Southern Hemisphere is everything south of the equator. The Europeans lived in Europe which is in the Northern Hemisphere. If you mean what were the populations of North and South America before Europeans arrived and introduced European Diseases that decimated Native populations, as well as introducing policies of enslavement and/or choices between conversion to christianity or death, well that really depends on exactly when you mean. For instance, populations of both Mississipian culture and the Anasazi were fairly dense around 1000 CE, but both cultures went into decline and by the time of the European arrival, had already largely vanished. The population of Central Mexico was extremely dense at the time of Cortez. Immeadiately preceding the arrival of Pizzaro in Peru, two brothers fought a bloody civil war for control of the Andean empire. Atuhualpa was the brother that became the supreme Inca, but was presiding over a depleted empire. Before the civil war, the populations were very dense along the West Coast of South America. But the population among the people who inhabited what became known as Patagonia and Tierra Del Feugo were very sparse.
