I have a 95 Ford Escort that the blower motor quit on. I removed the circuit breaker, inspected it and put it back in with no luck. The little red reset button on the breaker was not pushed out to indicate it had been tripped. If it is not the breaker what should I replace???Help it is winter and cold with no heat!

No, a shorted resistor won't injury the blower motor. First, resistors do not short, they open. next, if the resistor (consequently, an undemanding coil of twine) replaced into shorted, it may in undemanding terms make the blower motor run complete velocity. final, in the experience that your resistor replaced into open, the blower might desire to nevertheless artwork on intense. The blower has a fuse to it. It should say heater on your fuse box cover. If you take it out and hold it to the light to see if the metal in the center is broke. If so replace it. Sometimes a penny may fall where the cigarette lighter goes that make the fuse blow. If that does not work, than your blower motor is under your glove box. Find something to tap it with while its on and it may come on and stay for awhile

Some cars have the circuit breaker and a fuse..Check the fuse box for the fuse,as it should be marked which one it is..If that is not the problem, then you probably have a fan motor problem..They are not very expensive to replace..
