just asking cuz i get alot of "flack" from the guys in my Dept., I passed the exam fair and square and im just wondering why they seem to pick on me.

No...why would you...seriously would you rather die?
anyone who does has obviously not taken a firefighters exam - they do not alter the physical exam for women...

Almost every story that I have heard about a firefighter saving a life, the survivor calls them their angel.
I wouldn't give a damn what color, sex, or height my angel was. They were sent to me is all I would care about.
My brother says that they give all rookies a hard time, so if may not just be you.

Did you have a physical test in that exam? Cause I dont think you could have passed the one in my city. I passed all the tests and waited in a pool for 2 years and was not chosen. (white male)

If you aren't physically capable of getting yourself out of a burning builiding in the first place, I doubt your going to be able to put up much of a struggle with someone trying to help you.

I would hope she's strong enough!
I would be grateful to be saved from death, but I'd much rather be carried out than dragged out by my ankle having my head thud down each stair as she saves me!
