It is quite possible. Be careful about discussing it at work though, lots of lawsuits come up that way....

sorry bud,

I doubt she was meaning what you were thinking .

In this age ( i sound as though im 70 !! ) it's common for people to say that they " love " someone or something , by saying "love" its a means for people to tell others how much they really like something without meaning literally that they " love" it ....

In this instance when she said that she really liked you , and in the context of the conversaion i would say that she just " likes " you ( as a friend)

If she said it when you were discussing relationships or past partners it may have been leading on to tsomething else , but when it was in a conversation on work .... well you work it out

Sorry ....

No. If she loved you, she'd say so.

Saying she really liked you might even have been only because she feels sorry for you. Especially since she felt the need to say it twice, like you didn't believe her the first time?

If you think she's interested in you, ask her out.

No. We say the word "love" when we really really mean it and feel it. I use the word "like" when I care for someone on the friendship level. How does this sound:

1.) I like my boss.
2.) I love my boss.

Not the same thing is it?

so you honestly think it could be love??? especially in a conversation about work? no offense, but no way, you cant realize that you love someone, really love someone until you've dated exclusively for a while. you can think some one is cute or has cute ways, or, i have friends that i REALLY like because they are who they are, but in love, no. i love them because i know them very well, but, ask her on a date, maybe it could turn into love. but for now, if anything, its lust or attraction and you should take a step further.no love

She said she likes you...she didn't say she loves you
If a girl says no do you think she means yes?
She means she likes you, we're really not that complicated you know...stop looking for hidden agenders...there aren't any.

Well I think if she said she likes you then that's what she meant. Perhaps she felt you needed to know that people like you. And that your a likable sort of person.

No, she's not in love with you...,not yet anyway. She's sending you a signal that she is attracted to you, and is hoping that she'll get a similar response from you.
