He was a man who let everyone one up him. He let them beat him, whip him, send him into the desert to hunger and thirst, agonize him, torment him, spit on him, pound spikes in his hands and feet while putting him on a wooden cross to suffocate and die, and other generally unsavory deeds.

Jesus Christ was a living human being born about 2000 years ago more or less. We know that he lived on earth not only through the bible but through other teachings as well.

As others have said, if you really want to know about him, read his own words.

There is no evidence to support the identity of Jesus Christ. Even the Gospel accounts of his life an ministry contradict themselves.

IT is entirely possible that the modern Jesus Christ is an amalgamation of several Orthodox Jews from the first century B.C.E. that were somehow fused together into an entirely intriguing but ficticious story.

a smart dude who was a great teacher of his day and the best-known celebrity of our day. i bet he didnt know ppl will still remember him 2000 yrs later. he was born during/around 6 bc and grew up. he was a bright scholar...always studying, wonder if he was athletic. heard he went to India, the smart country of medicine n stuff. then he came back to his place n taught ppl stuff. he died n hundred or so yrs later, ppl who didnt even kno him wrote about him in the best-selling novel of all time, the Bible. they may have or may not have added their own little taste into the story of his life, but all we know is after they wrote, he became super popular...probably a dream come true. just kidding for all the ppl who take this offensively

To the Jews, he was the deliver, the person who would come and free them from their oppression. He was the one who would come as a king and drive away the Romans. He was their Yahweh, revered.

Today, though he is often looked at as just a simple man, I believe that he did come to earth in the form of a child, and will come back some day.

A highly effective speaker. Someone who spread a great belief in something that man took and perverted for their own gain. A person who was martyred for his beliefs. A symbol to remind people of how truly corrupt and evil we can be to each other.

He was, and is, the unique Son of God. He was born as a man, lived a perfect life, and gave His life to save us from sin. Please read the Bible, ask about what you don't understand, and open your heart to Him, and believe!
