No, there are strict laws in the making of movies that say no animals may be harmed while making a film. They have people for the animal rights on set at all times, if you watch the credits closely you will usually see "No animals were harmed in the making of this film"

When it comes to the big studios of Hollywood, animal handlers and some animal care organization have always been present. Can not speak of the independent or foreign movie makers of many generations ago. Animals were probably killed or maimed back then - but not now. Remember that movies are illusions, only illusions. They cut and paste. They apply makeup and create sounds. They manipulate the visual.

The dog in To Kill A Mockingbird had a trainer who had taught the dog to deeply growl on cue. Then they applied makeup foam to give the illusion of the rabid foam. And then, the animal falls down on cue, and a little bit of manipulation of the film speed, or the softening of the camera lens can make it more effective.

In real life, an animal suspected of rabies is quarantined and watched. Anyone suspected of being exposed to the animal is given shots. After the animal dies, it's brain is sometimes sent to a vet for autopsy to verify the extent of the disease.

I don't know about 1962, but now there are animal rights activists watching every move the studios make, so now the answer is no, no animals are harmed in making movies and TV shows.

No animals are ever harmed on a movie set. They probably used a stuffed animal or something pretty lifelike after Atticus shot it. I also don't think that they would want the kids in the movie to see that kind of violence.

I don't know what the laws were like then, but at the end credits it should say whether or not animals were harmed or killed. More than likely it wasn't killed.

I can't even stand when cars are destroyed in movies, let alone an animal.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aUMrX

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Of course not. If you look on the DVD version you can clearly see the thin cable hooked to the dog that jerks it to the side to simulate it being shot.

Also, Mae Ellen Ewell also was not really raped.

No animal was killed..The censors would not allow it. However, i hate to watch any scene where an animal is killed even though it is not real.
