it means you win the rest of the tricks

it means you get the rest of the tricks. you only do it if you know you cant be beat. for example if the last 5 cards are the akq of clubs ak of spades you know you win the rest of the tricks so there is no point of waiting for everyone to play

TRAM means that your hand is powerful and that no matter what you will take the rest of the tricks for that hand.
