when picking out your wardrobe,think about the season winter.think,what colors are in the theme,winter?lets see...theres:
1)Tans & Browns
2)Light Blue
3)Periwinkle(my fave)
4)Red(Red goes sooo well for anything,its perfect!)
5)White(only if you are absolutely certain you won't spill anything on it lol.but this color is enchanting
6)Emerald Green(beautiful)

if you don't want to buy anything.you can always somebine some of the clothes you already have.like,you could wear a fancy shirt with some pants.or you can wear an old dress from your mother's closet.or if you have a dress that you've worn before,buy little accessories and jewelry to wear with it so it looks different.

Depends on the weather, here in the south a nice knee length dress with spaghetti straps would be nice On the other hand if you are up north I would go with a longer version and add a heavier sweater or shawl. This time of the year I would go with a royal blue or deep purple.

find out exactly what they mean by formal, ask around to find out what other girls are wearing to give you a general idea.
Just follow these rules, whether it's formal or not:
1. no trails
2. nothing you can't boogie in
3. comfortable shoes (NO HIGH HEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!)
4. something that flatters you, and looks good on you. somethings that looks good on others can look awful on you or clash with your hair or something.
(to my winter formal all my friends wore these cute retro dresses)
Don't expect too much out of your winter formal. girls who expect to have the night of their life with their crush are often dissapionted because their crush flips them off or something.
It's best if you are pleasantly surprised by all the good things, like your friends loving your dress, or a decent guy asking you to dance, just don't expect too much.

Skip the dance and study grammar and spelling. Wear sweats, it's not formal in your bedroom.

Don't get mad about what you are going to wear! first of all you have to just give all your imagination! You must to wear something that shows to the other your's personality! you must to wear something nice and litlle extreame too! maybe a nice tight-fitting jean and a lovely long t-shirt (from those which arelike tight fitting dresses would be nice) and a large belt!
