Do you ever give money or food to ppl on the street holding up a sign asking for money or food?

Sometimes. Where I used to work, there was always a bum with a sign on the exit ramp to the highway. Not the same guy, but a few different guys who would take turns at the corner-apparently it was a profitable place for panhandling. I was very aware that the odds were the guy would use the money for booze or drugs, but if I had extra money in my pocket I just didn't see any harm and giving him a few bucks.

I have in the past, but not recently. My sister gave this guy a dollar once and he looked like he didn't want to take it at first. I know that not all of them are panhandlers, but some seem suspicious to me.

Yes, I cried once when I was in Cincinnatti and there was a person holding up a sign and someone laughed and cussed right at him. I cried because my dad wouldn't let me give my 20 dollar bill to him.

yeah I'm kind of a soft mark for panhandlers. I have a deal with most of them on my way to school- they can hit me up every other day. And you know what? They honor that, for the most part.

yes...if i have cash on me...if not i cant give them my card. What they do with the money, I dont care. From what I understand, people can make ALOT of many doing that.
