My History professor told us that "the books about wars are written by the winners". Maybe that has something to do with the movies. Hope it helps.

The same is true of movies from EVERY other country. It's just that you get exposed to more American movies than anything else.

It's so they can prove that they're better. For example, in that movie with Hilary Swank, they're saying that it takes a white woman to save the minorities from the ghetto.

most ww1 and ww2 films show how america single handly destroyed the evil germany and japan. and no other country had done anything

did you see the movie "Wind talkers"(i think thats what its called)
it honored the indian code speakers of ww2 ... it also had Nicolas Cage
