Ask your vet if you can mix a little apple juice with it.Or even a drop of corn syrup.Or,you can just give it to him as is,and then give him a treat immediately after.My cats have it prescribed for various ailments,and they hate it,too.I think it smells like cabbage! And to the person who said it's injectable,there is an injectable form( I've used it for my turtles),but I think the Guinea pig would take the oral form.It would say on the bottle which form it was.The oral form comes with a dropper,and instructions for use,I'm sure.

At my clinic we have banana flavored Baytril for rodents. He may fight you because he's not going to like it. If possible, will your vet let you return it and write you a script to get it filled at a regular pharmacy? Call your pharmacy first to see if they have different flavors. Good luck.
