Very few people that express their dislikes of Norton and McAfee have used the programs. They are usually repeating what they have heard or read from others.
McAfee and Norton are excellent programs. I know many people that use them and are completely happy with them.
I personally do in use either program. I use the Online Protection Package that comes with my AT&T Yahoo DSL service. This provides me excellent protection. I also use three additional Anti-Spyware programs, Windows Defender, Spybot Search and Destory and SpywareBlaster.

I think you can only do it if you use yahoo as your ISP. Login in and look for special's or call customre support. AVG is a good anti virus is actually what I am using too right now. But Norton and Mcafee have more options and won't bring down your computer if you have a newer system.

It's totally up to you, but I personally don't like McAfee or Norton, they are way too cumbersome and actually take over your computer's resources. I suggest going with AVG antivirus...it's completely free and it works great!
