I am a bit young, but my mother went through it in her thirties. Just over the past few months, i feel so different, my body. I get insomnia, throbbing boobs, all the time, weight gain, burst in to tears for nothing, women probs (too personal, but seen doc) lots of migraine headaches, terrible mood swings, look tired, negative thoughts, make me cry, bad dreams, always cold, swollen abdomen, fluid retention, cramps in legs, heavy periods. What is wrong? Could it be hormonal, menopause coming on?

Most women experience menopause in their late forties or early fifties, although it is normal for menopause to occur anytime between the ages of 40 and 60. The most common symptoms reported by menopausal women are hot flashes (70%--85%) and vaginal dryness (45%). I would suggest you see your doctor and discuss your irregular periods and your concerns. Your doctor can check your hormone levels and let you know what is going on. You may want to go on hormones to regulate your period.

Bless your heart. I have the same exact symptoms. I empathize with you. I am only 40. I have felt that way for 4 years. I know that my hormones are changing and the symptoms are very real. More severe for some than others. I have them severe as well.

I got a book by Dr. Hotze. He is amazing. You should look into it. You can look him up on line/ Dr. Hotze health and wellness in houston texas. He has dedicated his life to womens hormones and once you read some of the stories you wont feel so alone. I felt like i was going crazy!!! Many many women completley understand!!!

Its all going to be ok!!! hugs to you!!!

Please don't feel alone. I am only 31 and going through the same thing except I'm having hot flashes and no periods at all. I will soon be going in to find out if I'm going through it too! Good luck, I wish I had some words of wisdom, I just wanted to let you know, I feel your pain!

does,nt sound like to me, sweats are the onset, usually night sweats, commonly called hot flushes., as everyone has said you need to get a blood check to check hormone levels, or anything else that could be the problem
