Why is it we are subject to these so called 'Free Channels' without being informed that they will be available on our digital television? They are all pretty rubbish anyway and are just a waste of air space which we pay for. Also why can they not be removed completely instead of being told by Sky just to restrict them. We are the customer, should we not be in control of what is on our Sky?

yes we should be in total control of our packages you should be able to select the channels you want one by one and be billed accordingly.A tip for those with sky phone them and say your not happy and you want to cancel and they should offer you an incentive to stay like half price package for 6 months, ive tried it works and so have others i know.

I want less TV, not more and I only want to pay for what I'm watching. I might only watch BBC1 or 2 for a couple of hours a week, but nevertheless I have to pay the same amount as someone who watches it 8 hours a day. I'd like to be able to select the individual programs I watch on any TV channel and not pay for hours of endless rubbish I don't. No TV is free...you're paying for it in some way or another even if it means a penny on a tin of beans somewhere.

Sky is just a nightmare.

I threatened to cancel my subscription & said I was moving to telewest.
They bent over backwards to help change my mind to stay with them, by offering SKY+ for free & half price subscription for 3 mths - which when I said I still wasn't interested they then offered half price subscription for 6 mths.
