If you're not happy in a place, examine what you have to do to get out of said place and GO! If you're anti your apartment, look for another one...if you're anti your job, get another one...if you're anti your current significant other, break up...and just stay single for a while...examine yourself and your life...you'll figure a lot more about yourself out if you're not simultaneously trying to figure out someone else. My mom was very unhappy in her career for a while. She decided to go back to school, and is now an R.N...she loves her job, and is happy again. My husband and I hated where we lived. We decided to move, and packed everything we owned and bounced! From New York to FLORIDA! LOL! We're obnoxiously happy, and all it took was a little change of location. You have to find out what specifically is making you feel like you're "in jail" and than do something to change it. Good Luck to you!
