Happily N'Ever After uses the phrase "On the Down Low". A quick search on the internet shows all the negative meanings this phrase has.

Down low can also mean low key. Like hush hush. Doesn't have to mean homo hush hush.

I don't know the scene, but seeing as you didn't know that it had those (among other) meanings without looking it up, even if that *is* what the scene means, kids won't have any idea.

This reminds me of the story of the woman who sued Hasbro because her kid asked her what "horny" meant after hearing it from an Austin Powers toy. The kid had no idea what it meant. Hearing the word didn't suddenly destroy his innocence and reveal deep carnal knowledge. It was just a word without meaning to him.

Same here -- if that *is* what it's intended to mean, which it probably isn't.

Well I don't it is supposed to be saying kids GO GAY OR DON'T GO AT ALL. Look at any Disney movie, most have phases that are for adults to laugh at but kids don't understand the references. Also I would really like to meet the child who comes out of the movie screaming I WANNA BE ON THE DOWN LOW at the top of his or her lungs that being the only thing they got from the movie.
