ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!

Just different names for the same thing..such as laptop and notebook, same thing different words...

Well.. a CD writer is used for saving data off all sorts and can be saved directly there for future references, but the burner allows you to burn data and music, and the music will play in other devies, unlike a writer. stick with the burner, cd and dvd burners are best.

There is no difference, they both do the same thing, write data to a compact disc
