Try Ann Harvey. I bought two fabulous suits from one of her outlets, which I wore at Glyndbourne, and I felt a million dollars. Jacques Vert also does lovely things for mother of the bride in an assortment of sizes and lovely colours. There seem to be franchises in most big department stores like Debenhams and House of Frazer.Since you are not far from Manchester, there is a Kendal Milne there with a very wide choice of petite sizes .I hope this helps.Good luck and have a lovely wedding.

Her best bet could be to shop online. Heard that a lot of women buy online these days and a great mother of the bride dress or suit shop would http://www.audreysmotherofthebride.com They ship to the UK.

Try Debenhams - they have a section for petite sizes (height) but they also go up to 16/18 in size

Try Dorothy Perkins or Bon Marche because they do petite women sections and the prices are very reasonable.

Try the online catalogs. There are a lot in the U.S., but I don't know about shipping to the UK
Ullapopken. com is one that is worldwide.
Try Googles catalog search engine.
