My question is, when two people kiss, why does it involve using the mouth? Is there any information on where this practice originated? When you think about it, it's kinda silly. "Oh let's touch our mouths together and this means we like each other". It could have just as easily been eyeballs rubbing together or clicking fingernails or something. So...why the mouth?

lol, you sound like my abnormal psych prof. But I think it goes back to evolution, when human ancestors still used pheromones to communicate.

Animals in a %., lick, and smell each others mouths to reveal affection and greet one yet another, (yeah i understand they do different issues too that are literally not so pleasant) perhaps by evolution this has developed into what all of us understand as a kiss in people. merely making an suggested wager. So besides the actual incontrovertible truth that it would want to be passionate, it would want to be extra pleasant than something else.

How are you supposed to jam your tongue in their mouth without your mouth?HAHA I don't think rubbing eyeballs would be much of a turn on!

I am sure you will know when you are in love. I have heard prostitutes say they do not kiss as that is more intermate than sex. it is realy on the same level as sex and to be kept for true love.
