Do be careful about where the tadpoles go. They're apparently quite sticky and unpleasant around the belly button. Or so I am told.

No. It is an old wives tale that holding a Toad in your hands will give you warts, but there is nothing to prove this.

My dog has a habit of rolling on dead frogs, but he never got warts.

No you have to lick their belly to cure a wart. Which is just an old wives tale.

Well not a frog, a toad. the warts on their back descrete a mild poison.
