Then you are ignorant of the world socio-economical situation.
The ones who end up suffering the consequences of the socio-economical injustices of the world are the poor of the world, the ones who have no voice, no choices.
Ask and illegal immigrant if they are happy to break the law and come to a country who doesnt welcome them. They certainly wont tell you they wanted to, but they where obliged in order to survive.
They were born in countries in which no matter how much they work they cant feed their families, they are forced to, they have no choice, if they stay they die, period.
And why their countries cant give them opportunities? It is a very complex world situation.
It is the fault of the entire world system. Too much richness in a few countries, to little in others.
And who end up paying the price. The poor of the world!
In order for this people to stay and thrive in their countries the entire world would have to change. The resources would have to be evenly distributed

And do you think the citizens of first world countries would be excited to pay more for their gorceries, for their gas, for their clothes, for their homes, have less luxury in order for other countires to stay alive, etc, etc? I dont think so! They are used to their life style.
I dont blame them, nobody likes to have less than they are sued to. But please inform yourself before you point a finger to an illegal immigrant.
Inform yourself so that instead of blame and hatred their is understanding and compassion.

It is as much the fault of the employers as it is the illegal.

If you leave food out in your kitchen, how can you not expect to get roaches and the diseases that they bring.

Imprison the employers and the landlords that make their living off of the illegals and they will not have a reason to be here in the first place.

I was somewhat with you until the last sentence. "The resources would have to be evenly distributed"... Sounds a little communist to me. Which in theory would be great however we've seen how it works in practice. Remember that whole U.S.S.R. thing...They really treated their poor well.

America's poor are the richest poor in the world and the fattest. They get everything paid for by the upper class and don't have a lick of responsibilty in paying it back or helping out the country.

And as for illegal immigrants, it is absolutely their fault they broke the law. Its like when someone needs money to pay his mortgage or put food on his table and he robs a bank. Yes it is an unfortunate situation that he could not supply for his family, but that does not mean its ok to break the law. Maybe he should have thought about his means before he had six or seven kids. And it is not the U.S's fault the Mexicans can't run their own country and support their own people, but again we have to take them in and pay for them to have a half-dozen kids. I don't think so. We are not rebuilding after the flood anymore, in fact we need some thinning of the herd. Sounds harsh, but I think it would help. A nice plague or perhaps this avian flu they keep talking about, that oughta cut down the work force a bit, then these people will have jobs in their own countries and can if they want to try to immigrate here to the U.S. legally.

I'm not a racist nor am I rich. I just believe that there is a right way and a wrong way of doing things, and to immigrate to a country illegally, and I don't really care what country it is, is just wrong.

All these people come here to the U.S year in and year out and they do it the right way. Now who's jobs do you think the illegal mexican immigrants are stealing? How about the legal immigrants from Mexico, Eastern Europe, and Asia. Think those people want jobs when they get here? I do. In a perfect world, your little rant would make great sense however, we do not live in a perfect world now or will we ever. We have to be able to do the best we can with all the other things that go into it. Socio-economics is one portion but how about some accountability to the places these people come from? People and countries need to be held accountable for their actions, and yes I'm including my own country here, but it seems to be something this world has gotten away from. We are so quick to point the finger at someone else and say "It's his fault!" that we forget to look at ourselves and our own issues and deal with them. Thanks and have a nice day.

There's only one entity to blame for the problem and that's the Federal Government, it's the people in the government that won't enforce the laws that are on the books and secure our borders. I can't blame the illegals if I were in the same situation I would be sneaking across too. And everyone says its the employers that are to blame and some of that is true too but many illegals have a "Social Security Card" its just not a valid one. Tell me how an employer is suppose to determine that? Before we start blaming the employers we need some way a verifying the authenticity of those cards. However, the first thing we need to do is close the borders.

It is a four way problem, the Criminals that smuggle them in.
The government for not closing the border.
The employers for offering jobs.
The immigrants themselves.

Did you notice the other week when the ICE raided the Swift meat packers, The next day thousands of people showed up with proof of eligibility and resume in hand. Well that blows the stoy they are just taking jobs Americans don't want.

Really, the immigration issue is our (US) fault. We don't protect the borders, we make legally immigrating here extremely difficult and time consuming, and then employers look the other way when hiring.
