Renault tried a few times and failed , Peugeot was the same, some Citroen's are around , just too weird and wanted the drivers to keep an eye on fluid levels.

many cars produced in Europe are not available in the US due to environmental regulations. And some cars are just produced for the European markets.

There are tarriffs, auto standards (as in the US has them and other countries do not have as much) and safety standards...

because Ameicans are large and French are little, so they make the cars according for themselves or for other European country's or people.
