Do you like shock rock stage performances???

Question

a friend and i want to start a band with two-female-lead singers and have stage effects like Marilyn Manson and Alice Cooper with blood, theatrics, special effects and all that stuff so I'm trying to figure out how many people would come to a concert where you get fake blood squirted at you.

Shock rock is cool. But you have to play some good muscic to go with it. If you remember the alternative band L7, they had an incident where one of the band members(which are all women) threw a used tampon out into the crowd...lol. True story.....no lie.

I really enjoy it and Im glad you mentioned Iggy....that is the kind I appreciate. I dont need a "Gwar type" of performance, but high energy and the presence of blood is always a plus. My first concert was at 12 years old. It was Alice Cooper and it was a great show....a mock hanging, beheadings, large robotic spider, masked women with whips and B-movie monsters all over the place. I left that show covered in fake blood and glitter/confetti...it was awesome. My favorite artist like that? GG Allin It is always cool, like Iggy, when it is real.

Go to an Iggy Pop performance what Iggy tosses to you isn't fake. I'd go to one of your performances.

there is only 1 true shock rock/performance art group...GWAR...everyone else are pathetic biters...if you are not going to do it on their level, don't even make the attempt...if you don't know who they are then you are already in over your head...

Rock music is terrible and it would be made worse by getting sprayed with all sorts of crap
