A good place to go is www.sparknotes.com, look under themes and motifs and further study for ideas. Look at the marriages of Othello and Iago, compare and contrast how they treated their wives. Could Iago have manipulated Othello if Othello had not had doubts about Desdemona to begin with. Why would he have those?

I wrote a research paper on Othello and discussed how race influenced every part of a story from the setting, characters, language and style, etc..i got a 98 on it and i was able to write it in one day so that may work
