Central Cooling.
It's supposed to be central heating.
I live in a rented house - every winter about half the radiators don't work. I'm pretty sure they just need bleeding, but it's THEIR job to do it, not mine.
For the first three years, they sent a guy who would bang on a few pipes with an adjustable spanner (monkey-wrench) and say he'd get back to me.
For the next three years they found someone else who has religiously fitted a new boiler every year.
I just use alternatives (electricity, solid fuel) and send them the bill.
They're coming out again next week. To fit a new boiler.

Plumbing--We are renting a house and when we first moved in , there was sand in the waterlines. They say it was caused by Hurricane Katrina. All our faucets were stopped up.We didn't hardly have any water pressure. They have worked on it and it seems to be better but it's still messed up.It takes 2 hours just to wash a load of clothes. If it wasn't such a nice and pretty house we would move, but we love living there other than our water problem.

Plumbing. So many things rely on water in the house and its not a fail safe system (like electricty). Plumbing by far.

in building maintenance, the most common complaint is the heating/cooling, followed by roof leaks and door hardware, then plumbing and electrical probs

my windows they are relatively new but some times when they have been closed there is a gap between the window frame holding the glass and the fixed frames, when the windows are opened the hinges seem to move.it can be a pain when you don't realise when you close them and later find your curtains swinging where the wind is coming through.

Plumbing. There is always a leak, or a drip, or nothing where there should be something, or something where there should be nothing.
Plumbing, it is!

main problems are keeping the carpets clean.
paying the rent is pretty troublesome too sometimes.
