I have to do a persuasive speech for my writting class, as a final. It can be about anything such as gay marriage, drunk driving, child abuse, so and and so on, but I haven't got a clue on what to do, got any really interesting topics?

I think you should think of a subject where you can voice your opinion and tell people how you feel about your subject. I would do it on teen suicide... but that's just me cuz I'm emo. But I really think it should be on something where you can voice your own opinions and express the way you feel.

Every topic you find is interesting, it just doesnt appeal to you. Child Abuse is a great topic if you have read The Child Called It. You should write that it needs to be stoped. Or you could do one a about mairajuanna and that people need to stop selling the stuff. Or do something about animals and how they are becoming extinct. Its a great idea.

If you have guts, persuade the teacher than everyone in the class should pass. You can use psychological evidence of how passing a class raises self esteem.
Find a topic that will lend itself to visuals that you can use. Fifty percent of your audience are visual learners. A demonstration that uses audience members is always strong.
