On November 16th 2002, a permanent exhibition of M.C. Escher works opened in the former palace of Queen Emma in the centre of the Hague.
This building is named Escher In Het Paleis (Escher In The Palace) and will be used exclusively for exhibitions of works by M.C. Escher, drawn from the collection of the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag and other collections.
In the opening exhibition, famous prints like Day and Night, Ascending and Descending, Belvédère and the various Metamorphoses andSelf-portraits are included,
complemented by changing displays of selected personal documents, such as letters and photographs.
In addition, the exhibition includes a spectacular Virtual Reality display, which will enable 30 visitors at a time to embark on a voyage of discovery through and within the work of M.C. Escher.
Virtual reality helmets will give the illusion of freedom to walk inside an M.C. Escher print, while the interactive program will test their understanding and knowledge of his work.

Also, there are various museums all over the world that own original prints by M.C. Escher, although they are not frequently displayed due to the fact that they are vulnerable to light. At times, there are travelling exhibitions . The website http://www.mcescher.com/ will post any upcoming exhibition times under the NEWS section.
Take care.
