in your own words, what (love) means to you?

we all know what love is , is something we cannot explain is just there, give me an honest answer for 10 points.

Love is... the thump thump thump in your heart when that person is around....its the feeling you have, when nothing else matters in the world when you are together.....its a feeling of contentment....
Love for a person,... is a joining of emotions that are shared between one another....one feels each others pain, and happiness.....

That's what love is to me.....

i dont know how to explain it well .. but i know many feelings that my be disguised as love.

a quote i recently heard that kind of explains love is this: if u love someone u enjoy loosing an argument just to watch the other win it.

i guess true love is the most selfless feeling ever. it is when u put someone's needs before ur own and when that prson takes up a chunk out of ur life meaning that whatever u do u consider the feelings of that person .... but not just that

its when someone else's success becomes ur own

i bet its easier to take a look at a mother child relationship in order to find the true meaning of love
love between a couple is too tainted i guess by the other emotions such as lust, jealousy, belonging, etc

Its when you care about someone so much, you'd die for them.

Its when, if you were dying, you'd want to spend your last minutes alive with them.

That's true love.
