I live in AZ and i have a bashas, albertsons, and safeway right by me. I'm wondering what would be better overall in savings? Bashas is more of a local store and the other 2 are big chains...Anyone know? Thanks!

The bigger it is, the cheaper it is going to be. They can buy things for much cheaper than locals can, so they can afford to sell if for less also.

The chain stores have the ability to buy in bulk, so they also haveteh ability to cut their prices down.

i'd say big stores, like wal mart, superstore, bigger is better. safeway is a bit expensive for me.
