it is just a new label to describe a new fashion
by the look of ur avatar u seem to fit in the stereotype
well emo kids are characterised y the way they dress and the kind of music they listen to but id say its a state of mind.
stereotypically they listen to depressing music, are pessimistic, think about death a lot, cut their wrists and stuff like that.
basically they dont want to be rappers they dont want to be punks, they dont want to be metal heads or goths so they just made some image up in order to be DIFFERENT. guess what half america and europe ended up looking the same ??
ooooo the shame
anyway gl whatever u wwant to be in life and dont waste ur time on such stereotypical bs do whatever u want and please and dont let these futile images hold u down. if u feel depressed and sad than thats ok learn how to deal with it and channel the energy into something positive. soemthing positive may come out of it regardless how devastating it might seem

Emotional kids who listen to emotional punk music and write many poems. They are very emotional and often depressed..
