I would suggest you go up the chain of command w/Duke energy. Start @ the top. Look up Duke energy on the net and find the ceo. Now granted you will likely never get through to him/her but enough calls to his /her office will promplty get you repaired. You dont have to be nasty just persistant. If you can find there e-mail send them a repeated barrage of e-mails explaining your dilema. I assure that the person on top wont want to deal with you so he will assign someone to promptly get you of of his/her back. I've had similar problems with my city's water dept and after no results I went to the mayors office. Of course they wouldnt let me see him but I left my name address and # with my complaint and I had a crew there the next day fixing the sidewalk they destroyed 6 weeks earlier. I also had a bad experience with BESTBUY and could not get it resolved @ the store so I called headquarter for 3 days requesting to speak to the ceo. I kept getting his sec. but on the 4th day the store manager called me back and had a change of heart. Give it a shot and good luck

i'm no longer somewhat beneficial with regard to the wear you're speaking approximately. Is it that they did no longer replace the sod or do you nonetheless have an open ditch. lots of the sewer lines in subdivisions right here, are interior the middle of the line and properties on the different edge of the line does no longer impact my aspects with their sewer lines. considering which you have already got an estimate for the $2750 worth of harm they did. prepare them the estimate and tell them the two to repair it or you have it repaired and report expenditures for the quantity plus court expenditures. you're able to end them from merchandising their properties, in case you may get something like a restraining order or a lien against the valuables until they pay you or restoration the subject. You had superb get a criminal expert to locate the excellent words and language. sturdy good fortune.

You're right about keeping you bill up to date. Like an auto accident, get three quotes.Submit these ,with photos, and a statement of every thing that's transpired.Send a (COPY) of it all to duke.better in person. If you mail it send it registered. Let them know that you wont tolerate their stalling tactics any longer.
Then be prepared to go to small claims court. These big companies do this on purpose .Most people grudgingly let it pass & eat the cost of repairs.Too much hassel. Good luck

Take pictures, Get a few estimates to do the yard work. If you are unsatisfied with the power company you can take them to court. Court is a colossal waste of time. The time I am talking about is a record of every conversation, the meetings with contractors, serving papers, and the court appearance. Some times I would just do it myself and end the headache. You weigh the options.
