i got very low grades for my mock exams. i usually get A' s and B' s but this time i got E' s and F' s...i failed in most subjects. what do i say?

You are SO lucky that it is the mock exams. Explain to your parents you took your mock exams and did not do well , that in order not to fail you are going to need to be able to study a lot , so you might not be able to do things that you normally do. Take the responsibility and the warning up front and prove to your parents you take it seriously.

Tell them you're very sorry...and you don't know why this happened...but you PROMISE to re-do everything and work really hard this time. And don't break your promise! They want you to get good grades for YOU not for themselves! The love you very much to care about your future....it's so hard to go through life without an education. I have a university degree and I still am not where I want to be in life.

i would probably start out by saying: "i know you're going to be upset but i didn't do well this time on my exams, i think i might need a tutor or learn some new study tools"... i think that'll soften the blow and help find out why you did poorly this time... were they just harder this time, maybe you weren't paying attention, or do you have your mind on something else... maybe some personal problems? or a pretty classmate?

These are only mock exams.Study harder next time.Maybe start a study group to discuss the questions.No need to tell your parents.
