i've had this happen! re-wash the item by itself or with something non-shedding if you need to balance the washer. dry it with a couple dryer sheets to help release the lint. make sure to clean the lint screen thoroughly first! there will be some lint left on the garment so you will need to pick that off using a sticky lint brush or tape. be patient!

Use a lint roller or brush or take some tape wound around your hand and lift it off. Which ever method you choose work in sections, change the roller sheet or tape often and it will look like new.

Put it in the dryer on fluff or air (no heat). Make sure that the lint screen is clean.

If you don't have a lint brush... use a dryer sheet and gently wipe it into a ball- velcro also works.

try washing it ago by itself, and drying it alone, that should help
