If you are comfortable wearing the clothes and they suit you and make you feel good about yourself, go ahead and wear them. Of course you would wear certain type of clothing on more formal occasions. As you age you will realise that certain styles don't suit you and you will adjust your tastes accordingly.

I understand where you are coming from, I myself am in my 30's, I noticed that I don't dress like the typical adult at times. I think it has alot to do with us wanting to hold on to our youth. Also I have teen daughters so if I were to wear anything adult like..my kids would be like "mom, I know your not going anywhere dressed like that"......
So I thinks its okay, keeps us youthful :)
