I am not very nice to him, and he treats me excellent. I kind of take advantage of his niceness. Why won't he leave me? Does he even think there's a problem?

Unfortunately I have personal experience with this behavior you might need therapy (serious).
I divorce my ex wife after a long marriage could not put up with the meanness anymore.
I am now engage to marry a wonderful woman and we treat each other like a king and queen.
Now I have friends that tell me my ex wife is talking about how she wish we had not gotten a divorce many people do not appreciate what they have till it is gone you might just need a swift kick (figuratively speaking from a therapist to find out why you can not reciprocate the love and respect from another person.)

If your question is real, you should think about what you just wrote.
If you love him, thank God he is still there. Fix yourself. Apologize to him for treating him poorly. Talk to a therapist.
He won't stay forever. It might be 10 or 20 years but eventually he will meet a girl who respects him and then he will realize what he's been missing.

At least you recognized this before separation or a possible divorce. I too did the same. I was pushing him away, rejecting him, not appreciating him or encouraging him. I was a horrible wife. It caused a separation for me to go to counseling and quit my destructive behavior. I'm glad that you see that there's a problem. Go to counseling. It's really not that bad. I enjoy it. Do you know why you are mean to him? You have to answer that before you can change. Please take care!

You obviously love animals. Why don't you start treating him the way you would treat your little puppy?
Don't drive him away, if you have issues from your past then GET HELP. Don't ruin one of the nice guys. There aren't many left.

thinking like maybe if im nice to her she might change

but if your wondering why he seem like he dont care and your just waiting for him to break with you
than your evil
wondering why he wont leave you?

my wife complians and complains
i dont think i can ever satitify her but yet i do my best
and her knowing that makes her happy

Why are you "not nice" to him? Do you want him to leave? Maybe he will when he meets someone who appreciates him......He will probably see how selfish and self centered you are soon.

he must be one of those wonderful men who love u unconditionally no matter what u do. his love for u isn't determined by how u treat him, he has made choice to be there in spite of how he is treated, a rarity in a man by the way. his circumstances don't steal his joy, he is happy even if u treat him lousy.
