I think you asked in the wrong place for a myspace question haha. Have you ever noticed peoples hatred for it here? Number one reason it's a waste of time ... but THIS ISN'T by any means (yeah I know give me the thumbs down) For me having lived through various parts of the country it is a great place to stay connected with my old friends. I can see pictures of there kids and really feel like I am staying up to date with them. you can enter your highschool on there (no matter how old you are and see if there are any people that graduated with you. there was a senator in Ohio (I believe) that made a My Space before re election he had the largest number of young peoples votes EVER! He set a record! All the people that are downing it have obviously never gotten addicted or just dont have close friends that they haven't seen in awhile. I don't really add people I don't know because I have kids and like to keep the pictures and things private but I know two of my great uncles are on there and some of my friends parents are on there. So no way are you too old .. there is a huge variety!

now i see myspace as an unnecessary unwanted exposure for some people who can get their reputation ruined easily. Putting out your personal info on myspace is a thing you have to think twice about until you are sure. And myspace is not the only website like this because there are others out there.

Yes, MySpace is a waste of time no matter how old you are. if you want to meet people, even just friends then go for an on line dating service, if you want a popularity contest then go on MySpace.

It's really according to what you want to get out of it. If you're going on there to meet new people, find information on things your interested in or just to chat with others then no it's not a waste of time.

I use MySpace to find others who are interested in the same things I'm interested in, so that I can talk to them about it and get ideas or insights that give me much more knowledge of my interests.

myspace is lame and a huge waste of time try and find something better to do

wow i have been downrated for the truth, probaly by some emo wannabe who spends there whole life on myspazz telling everyone how their life is so terrible because their mum wouldn't let them go out after 10 pm. that is the typical person on myspace although there are normal people on there.

No one is ever to old to have fun. I have a MYSPACE. I only have it to get in touch with past school mates. I have nothing fancy on it just the generic page that it comes with. I like the silly messages people send me also. So go ahead and try it. You may like it. Or, try the YAHOO 360 page.

LOL!! I am an old person too, and I opened a my space account so I can take a look on my teenager's account. I don't think it is a waste of time. I am not making that many friends because I am old and un-hip, but I am learning a lot about the computer. If you want a my space account, go for it.

MySpace is a waste of time for anyone.

Ugly design, useless waste of bandwidth.

It is only popular because people just don't want to invest the time to code their own site and pay for hosting.

Don't bother with it.

myspace has grown very popular recently. It was targeted at a younger demographic but now even parents are creating accounts. I'm in my twenties and not the least bit interested with it.

myspace is a waste of time for everyone including old people but not only for oldies.
People spend hours of their lives sending messages to people they see every day and stop doing work because ofit.
