why do men and women stare what is the purpose of it what are they thinking

People stare at others because maybe they themselves feel insecure. The other person may look good. The other person may have funny features. People just sometimes stare becuase they do, they have nothing else to do. Sometimes some one could be staring at you because they jealous and they don't even know you. Sometimes they could just want your attention, they want you to look at them. Other times some people are just looking to start fights so they use the fact that your looking at them as an excuse.

I think it is quite irritating when people stare at me. I am quite normal, and can only attribute the staring as ignorance and bad manners from uncaring people.

They're not staring. They are actually sucking away my psychic energy in an attempt to paralyse my defences before they drag me away to their lair and eat me.
Of course, when I stare it's because I'm miles away and thinking of chocolate. Or I think you're sexy.

Maybe you look smart or good looker or tartish but people don't do that in UK as much as Canary Islands especially Lanzorote and apparently its a way of life and not regarded as rude

and as for men, they're very visual creatures...
I think a lot of the time, when people are staring, they don't know they're doing it!!

its natural to stare. Did u know that u enter an average of 10,000 stare relationships per year!!

Firstly, it's rude to stare. However, people sometimes stare in amazement at something unusual - this could be flattering, e.g. you could look stunningly beautiful or very rude as you could have some kind of disfigurement.

It`s a trait inherited from our prehistoric ancestors,as in animal behaviour it precedes a primitive desire to overcome you and eat you, so watch out.
