I know this might sound stupid, but are there any other races other than african-americans accepeted into Howard; and if your half black and half white, could you be accepeted?

According to their website, they don't discriminate, based on race:

POLICY ON EQUAL OPPORTUNITY
The University does not discriminate on the basis of race,
color, national or ethnic origin, gender, marital status, religion,
handicap, age, sexual preference, political affiliation or any
other basis prohibited by Federal or District of Columbia
law. This policy covers administration of University
educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and
loan programs, other University-administered programs,
and employment.

And I was reading an article online that said, as of 2002, the school was 1.3% white. But I wouldn't let that percentage sway me if I were you, because although I went to a diverse school, UNLV, I'm from TX and Ive visited friends that go to TSU, which is a historically black college out in Houston, and there were more non-black students on campus then you'd think.

No University in America can discriminate on the grounds of race if they wish to receive Title IV Financial aid funds, therefore any one can apply and be accepted to Howard. It is a Historical Black University in that back when it was founded it was founded for African Americans to attend because they could not get into White only schools. Brown V Board of Ed and other court cases put an end to that. Howard has a significant, though not majority, number of non-African American Students.

No university can directly descriminate based on race. There are people of other races that attend Howard University. It's not an all black school, it's a historically black school. This means it was founded by black people. During the time it was founded, all the students were black. Things have obviously changed since then.

Yes, and because you'll be considered a minority, you may be eligible for a diversity scholarship. I know quite a few whites, Latinos, South East Asians and Asians who have attended Howard.

Why not go to their website and pull their demographics, that way you can see who is actually there.
