Windows XPe or Windows CE for Thin clients?

Question

We are going to be running thin clients at remote locations using citrix with various application installed ie office, clients for IBM as/400 sessions. What OS would be favourable and why?

XPe would be your best bet because there is not much you need to do to XPe to get regular windows applications to run except have enough memory on the system.

CE is not a true windows compatible OS--It LOOKS like windows but doesn't really smell like windows under the hood....... and requires specialized application specifically for CE where XPe doesn't

In other words....your help desk is just as familiar with XPe as they are with the XP Desktop systems.
