Printers usually blend the colors cyan, yellow & magenta with the ink from the black cartridge to get full color prints. Most likely, your cyan (blue) and/or yellow is out of ink so the printer is trying to print with the only color it has left, magenta (red).
If you have a tri-color cartridge, you need to replace the whole thing. If you have a different color cartridge for each color, just replace the ones you are out of.
This typically happens when you print a lot in one color group (blues, greens, etc) and not a lot of reds. If this does not fix your problem, you may have a faulty print head which usually requires maintenance or replacement.

Refilling the cartridge would not artwork with some manufacturers. Many manufactures positioned a counter interior the circuitry on the cartridge. no remember how finished the cartridge is, if it became used X volume of cases it is going to now not print. purchase new cartridges.

If you have there website go to that and get them to do a full check on your printer then you will know what problem you have. I had a problem with my Epson, they had a program that checked it out and found the black jet was blocked,so used there cleaning and test printing no no more problems.

Your printhead is clogged or damaged. Try doing a cleaning cycle. Also try new cartridges.
