They already had them last summer (August-September) for this season (season 6) airing beginning January 16th on FOX. Next auditions will be held in the summer of 2007 for season 7 scheduled to air in 2008 and the exact dates and locations have not been announced yet.

They begin new auditions the summer after the season ends - like July or August. Check their website for whens and wheres.

Last I heard they hold auditions...not just "check for."
:: Scenario: "Ok, Paula lets you me and Randy just go "Check" for new people. I'm sure there aren't any anywhere...so an audition would be pointless"
