When it comes to hockey the main ingredient for Canadians is their heart. They refuse to give up. They may play teams with as much talent but no one has the Canadians determination to win.

Well as I'm typing this the Canadian juniors are beating the Russians 3 - 0 after the first period. Read an article yesterday where the States were whining about losing to us and laughing at our young representatives in the world hockey. Well it looks to me like we are going to get the last laugh as they ended up with the bronze and we will get the gold. Oh Yeah!!! Hockey is as Canadian as is the sun rising every morning, that is why we rule.

I love how some Americans are so not cultured! It makes me laugh, that's for sure! Go back to school!! haha...
Anyways what can I say, we Canadians RULE because it's our national sport and was invented by the Canadians! what more could you ask for :p
Of course, anybody can be good at it: Americans, Russians, The Swedes, Finnish...
And NO we don't have ''anything else better to do'' because we ROCK AT IT ;) don't be jealous now! HmmHmmHmm
It's a passion... either you got it in you, or you don't! Clearly many people DON'T!

We rule at hockey because:
1. We are the only ones smart enough to realize which sport is entertaining and which sports suck (basketball, football-kinda)
2. We have the most knowledgable coaches and best ice facilities
3. We have the most registered players

WE Canadians are good at more than just hockey! Our music health system, compassion and attitude is better than most too. But we rule at Hockey, at it is a first rate sport. And the good NHL players in Hockey are Canadian eh!

cause we want to, how do u think the NFL would look if we change our national pass time to football? we would dominate. its just that hockey is a better sport to play and watch. and just for the record American football sucks, give the steroid filled running back the ball, run 4 yards then do it 3 more times then do it again for 4 hours, at least in the CFL they can throw and catch the ball!

Because hockey is in bread in little children from shortly after they are born. We have kids leagues that start at age 3 and up. My grandson is 5 and plays hockey and loves it. He is a natural at it.
